Wet Bottoms

It rained the day before. Not just rained, but rained so hard that you could hear the water come down and hit the ground. Each drop made a sound. You wake up ready to go for a quick run in the park. After making it to the park, you meet someone you know. You start talking to them, and after a while you two decide to sit down. Your friend sits down on the bench near you, and quickly jumps back up. Water now soaks her pants from the puddle she sat in.

Has this ever happened to you? Maybe you weren't the friend but the one getting the wet pants? Well, I have a gadget for you. The Rolling Bench is a new creation that everyone can find a little enjoyment from. I mean come on, no more wet butts, that's great. The bench has a handle on the side, and after a rainy day or spilled drink, you can simply turn the handle. The bench will roll and the wet side of the bench will go underneath and you will be rewarded with a dry place to park your bottom.

Just remember to not sit on it while turning the handle. That probably won't help, or your bottom might end up on the ground.

Have you ever sat in a puddle before?

Easy Lock

The power at my house goes out all the time. Mostly because people don't know how to drive. There is a very poorly planned intersection right outside my neighborhood, and people don't seem to understand the signs that say DO NOT TURN ON RED in big letters, or the fact that lanes with yellow lines going across are not their own personal turning lanes. If you can see where I'm going with this, people get in accidents a lot. Usually, while they are in the process of crashing they seem to think, hey there's a lovely pole over their with wires attached to it, let me crash into that. So, then my neighborhood loses power, and no body is happy.

Anyway, what I'm getting at here is that I can't use my wonderful garage door opener when the power is out, so I'm stuck pulling out a key. I'm horrible at using keys, absolutely horrible. Nine times out of ten, I don't even have my key with me, because I've either forgot the chain it's on, or I lost it. So, I'm stuck trying to find a key wherever my mother might have hidden one. Once I finally find the key, I fumble with the bags in my hand and can't put the key in the hole. I'm uncoordinated.

When I found this wonderful invention, I sat in amazement for a few seconds. No really, I did. This door lock creates a funnel for the key to go down. It allows you to simply guide the key to the lock, and making it much easier to open the door. Especially if you are me.

Needless to say, I will be buying a door lock like this whenever I have my own house. My dad might make fun of me, but at least I'll be able to get into my house without swearing and cussing.

Do you have problems opening doors or am I just alone here?

Not your typical mouse

It’s amazing how people adapt to life. I have a cousin who has lost both of his legs from diabetes, yet he can still walk thanks to prosthetic legs. That’s what we do as humans, adapt. We figure out a way to make our lives better and we do it.

This mouse, isn't your normal everyday mouse. It’s a mouse for your feet. This mouse was created by Liu Yi. It was created for people who have lost the use of their arms. Instead of using their hands, they can move the mouse with their foot and click with their toes.

  Pretty cool, huh?
