Light Alarm
Lately, I've been hearing a lot about Light Alarms. Even Doctor Oz mentioned them on a show I watched with my mom. Light alarms are very simple. The lights gradually get brighter over a period of time to help you wake up. Instead of waking up in complete darkness, they get brighter over a period of thirty minutes so that it's more natural to get up. Some can even be programmed to have chirping birds or music play as you wake up. They can also dim slowly to help ease someone into sleep

Clocky, Tocky, Wake Up
Here’s a good invention for deep sleepers, or for those of us that
hit the snooze button a dozen times. This little alarm clock doesn’t
just ring to wake you up. It runs away if you don’t get up. Nanda Home,
a company that takes everyday objects and recreates them, created this alarm clock that they named Clocky.

Clocky gives you one chance to hit snooze, but the next time the
alarm clock goes off it rolls away. The alarm clock can withstand a 3
foot drop to the ground and will roll around on both carpeted and wooden
floors until you get up and catch it.

Perhaps wheels aren’t your style, or maybe you like to wake up to
music? Well, there are always other options, such as Tocky. You can upload mp3s into this clock or even record messages
with a small built-in microphone. Tocky will also roll away and make you
catch him, ensuring that you are up and awake when you need to be.
So what do you think? Would you use an alarm clock like this?
